Anna Beauchamp is a Maker currently based in Taipei, Taiwan.

She graduated with a Masters of Architecture (Professional) from Victoria University Wellington Te Herenga Waka with a final design Thesis titled: Agglomeration and Bricolage Towards Regeneration which explored a local maker approach to rebuilding identity and built environment. After gleaning business process and practice working for three line studios part time during studies she decided to shift creative focus to further explore a budding identity as a maker.

A love for sewing and style coupled with a motivation to approach a more sustainable and ethical lifestyle made a fashion label a natural next pursuit for personal expression. Something that could be done on her own terms while at home raising young kids. Runinng a small business naturally required building a brand identity and marketing. This encompassed everything from print/packaging design to customer consultation as well as art direction and styling for photoshoots and actual design and production of product.

Anna undertook a creative internship between undergraduate and postgraduate studies. This internship exposed her to experience ranging from set design and manufacturing for multi scaled events, styling for video and print production to producing for weekly events and annual conferences. The myriad of creative processes explored this year set the foundations to next launch a small fashion label.

Motivated by a love of fashion and styling and a desire to approach a more sustainable and ethical lifestyle made a fashion label a natural next pursuit for personal expression. Something that could be done on her own terms while at home raising young kids. Running a small business naturally required many processes, encompassing everything from building a brand identity and digital presence, print/packaging design, customer consultation as well as art direction and styling for photoshoots and actual design and production of product. The business is currently on hold as the family adjusted to a new baby and took some time to travel and pursue a new life in Asia.

Whatever the medium, Anna is passionate about manufacturing a moment to communicate a message. Physically crafting something that embodies a narrative.
